Live streaming will be happening for this event (for all those presenters who consent to this).  If you can't make it in person please log in to watch the stream.  Start Time 9am

Live Streaming Update

Firstly:

The Live Stream will now be run through Youtube Live Stream and utilises Google Hangouts On-Air instead of using UStream.  This gives us the advantage of:

• Up to 10 users can join the Live events and actively participate in REAL TIME with two way video conferencing
• An unlimited number of users can view the Stream
• The Stream can be made private to ONLY our registered users
• We can securely record the streams for later viewing
• It's Free
• Mobile solution available
• Allows us to stream not only the cameras but also live screen view - powerpoint etc can be shown in full screen, as can any video we want to show, photos, live images etc.
• We can schedule events that will automatically remind you of upcoming training sessions

This was much more difficult to code but it is done now, all tested and working

Please note: Any registered user can view the streams but if you want to actively participate (recommended) then you will need to register for a Google account and join the EMG Live Streaming Events Circle on Google Plus

Secondly:

SaSH has formally approved the use of this process for Streaming of the ED Live Training Events

Final Re-design

That's it.  The new look is complete! this site has been developed with a much more powerful web designer and has greatly improved functionality over the old design.

Apologies, anyone who signed up for the old site - You will need to re-register (hit the "sign up" button above).  The reason for this is the introduction of a much more secure password system that is easier to manage - so your requests will be authenticated sooner.

There will be no further changes to the registration process as this is now working so you will not have to re-register in the future.  Again apologies to those who had been kind enough to sign up to the previous test site.

Currently there are only test files in the secure area but these will be populated over time.

I hope you find this new site easier to use.

New Test Area

This area is accessed though the protected documents zone (password required) and will temporarily be used to test different builds, if you have a password to the protected document area you are welcome to view the test build and make comments using the feedback page

New Look Web Site Developments

After gaining feedback on various designs this simple layout has been generally felt to be the best.  The site is much more functional with:

• Secure Password Protected Areas for File Storage 
• Secure Password Protected Areas for Presentation Storage
• An Open Area for Document Storage (shared documents)
• Password Protection on Stream Page
• Separate secure area for select access to private documents with links to password protected editable  embedded excel documents
• Simpler Navigation with highlighted menu to show location on site
• Feedback & Registration now goes to admin@emergencymedicinegroup.co.uk
